Required at Audition

Time: Tuesday, Jan 21, 2024 @ 1:30PM in front of SMHS Theater

Required:

• 1 memorized monologue, minimum 30 seconds.

• 1 song from musical playlist memorized (at least first min of song)

• A 32-count easy dance routine will be taught at the audition that you will have to then perform on-stage.

• Complete the Google Form to sign up for the audition.

Rules & regulations

No auditions permitted without a completed Audition Interest form filled out.  All auditioners must be current Sunrise Mountain High School students.

Play Synopsis

Chicks: The Musical is inspired by the movie "White Chicks".  It contains all important music tracks from the movie, and includes many more songs that fit the time (2004) and also current day Top 40 music.  Two FBI agents screw up a criminal bust, and are put on a new assignment, as punishment, to watch two socialite heiresses who are currently targets of a kidnapping.  They are forced to dress as these girls, and in the process, learn about the trials and tribulations girls go through in their lives.  This is a slapstick comedy not to be taken seriously.  The goal of this show is just to be entertaining; sing along and laugh at the on-stage ridiculousness of the plot.
